The challenge
AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport partnered with Global Reach to redesign and rebuild its website. They wanted to replace an aging WordPress platform that had become difficult to maintain due to ongoing plugin updates and functionality issues.
The solution
The new website was designed and developed in SiteViz Premier, providing a more stable, user-friendly platform for staff and volunteers.
The refreshed design is modern, colorful, and playful, reflecting the organization’s mission while encouraging visitors to adopt, volunteer, and donate. Key features include a PetPoint integration that automatically displays adoptable dogs and small animals, along with streamlined online forms for adoption applications, adoption fee payments, owner surrender resources, adoption event requests, and home visit evaluations.
The website also uses the SiteViz Events Module, making it easy for staff to promote adoption events and the organization’s popular annual Puppy Bowl. The result is an engaging, easy-to-manage website that supports AHeinz57’s rescue efforts and helps connect more animals with loving homes.
