Note:
August 6, 2008 - There appears to be several fiber cuts between some of Iowa's largest Internet providers. This is causing some customers on Iowa Telecom and NetINS, as well as others, to be able to get out to the Internet at large but not to services on other providers within the state of Iowa. In our case, customers whose email is on our Qwest connectivity may not be able to connect to it if they use Iowa Telecom or NetINS (and possibly others). All of our servers and connectivity are fully online. Technicians for Iowa Telecom and Qwest are in the field repairing the cut fiber and, based on experience, such a state wide outage should be resolved in a few hours or less. We will provide any further information we have on the issue here.

Update 4:00pm - It looks as if the fiber cut has been resolved.
