At this time, we are looking to add to our Senior Web Development Team and for candidates to apply for the new CJC Internship Program.
Senior Web Developer
Captain Jack Communications, Iowa’s premiere and most experienced web development and hosting company, seeks highly qualified applicants for the position of Senior Web Developer.
Qualified applicants will possess a bachelor’s degree or better in a related field and 3 to 5 years experience with developing medium and large scale web applications using the LAMP stack.
This is a full-time position within a small team environment. Applicants must have advanced experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and show modern/standardized design skills in Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. Applicants should also have a proven understanding of PHP procedural and object-oriented development, as well as, relational database design.
Experience in agile software development methodologies, client communication, other programming languages, and search engine optimization is a plus. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

CJC Internship Program
Captain Jack Communications, Iowa’s premiere and most experienced web development and hosting company, has announced the all-new CJC Internship Program!
This program is open to high school and college students, who show a committed interest in a technical development career. This will be an opportunity for participants to gain real world experience in a fun and inspiring work atmosphere!
Accepted applicants will join a unique team environment and will be participating in programs that focus on systems administraton, website development, computer networking, and client communications. Participants are expected to remain in good standing with their educational institution during their internship. Knowledge in social media marketing, software experience with Adobe Dreamweaver/Photoshop, and the ability to configure email client applications (Outlook Express) are all a plus.
